The 110 kV double circuit line between Ülemiste and Järve substations was replaced with a cable line from Ülemiste substation to mast No 22. The total length of the line is 2.8 km, 2.2 km of which was installed using the opened method and 0.6 km using the closed method. The line was divided into four ca 700 m segments.

The cable itself is supplied by the Reka Kaapeli factory in Finland and the straight and end joints are supplied and installed by CCC Berlin GmbH from Germany.

On 1 July 2021, Merko Ehitus Eesti acquired a stake in Connecto Eesti, and the Merko electrical construction business line merged with Connecto. Acting jointly under the Connecto brand makes it possible for us to offer a significantly broader range of services – in addition to the design, construction and maintenance of low, medium and high voltage electricity networks, Connecto also operates in the field of telecommunications and gas networks.
