During construction, three new pumps were installed (pumping station’s total volumetric flow rate 450 l/sec, two pumps operating), new suction and pressurized pipelines were installed in the necessary scope, and new shutoff valves and retaining valves were installed. In addition, the pumping station’s collection tank was also reconstructed (including an inflow channel and the ceiling of the tank). An electrical drive unit was installed on the main damper of the pump inflow. During heavy rain, this limits the amount of inflow, fixing the main damper in a half-open or even closed position. The entire pumping station was transitioned to automatic control mode, which is compatible with the new remote surveillance system developed by AS Pärnu Vesi. The capacity of connections to the pump station was also increased, with the electrical power consumed by the station increasing by close to 120 kW).
