Eesti Energia Õlitööstus is building a new oil plant based on Enefit280 technology that is going to be environmentally friendlier, more reliable and more powerful. The new generation technology used was developed as a joint venture by Eesti Energia and the international engineering company Outotec.
The works comprised the construction of support systems for cables inside the turbine hall and cables going out of the hall; and the installing of power, control and signal cables, a UPS power network and a 110 VDC power network with all the related busway lines and cable connections. Medium voltage transformers and low voltage switchgear for general power supply and the technological process were installed. A wide earthing system was built around the turbine hall.
On 1 July 2021, Merko Ehitus Eesti acquired a stake in Connecto Eesti, and the Merko electrical construction business line merged with Connecto. Acting jointly under the Connecto brand makes it possible for us to offer a significantly broader range of services – in addition to the design, construction and maintenance of low, medium and high voltage electricity networks, Connecto also operates in the field of telecommunications and gas networks.
