The Viiratsi county project involved the reconstruction of public water supply and sewerage systems in five different settlements. The total length of the built/reconstructed municipal sewerage pipeline was 1.9 km, municipal pressure sewerage pipeline 1.6 km, drinking water pipeline 8.4 km, and storm water sewerage pipeline 0.4 km. Also 5 over ground fire hydrants and 2 waste water pump stations were built. We drilled three bore wells (4.5 m³/h, 5.4 m³/h and 4.3 m³/h) because the drinking water from the old wells contained too much fluorine. We also built a new water treatment structure that removes iron from water. Three waste water treatment plants (90 IE, 350 IE and 100 IE) were reconstructed. The 350 IE plant is an activated sludge water treatment facility, where we built a new water treatment plant with air fans, a screen and automatic electrical equipment. We also cleaned the existing lagoons.
