Puurmani junctionTallinn-Tartu-Võru-Luhamaa mnt 147.6-149.4 km

The construction of Puurmani junction, which was ordered by the Estonian Road Administration to make the Tallinn-Tartu-Võru-Luhamaa road safer. During the first stage of the project in November 2006, a twolaned arc bridge of 90 meters was built over the Pedja River to replace the old narrow bridge. The Puurmani arc bridge was awarded the title of the Concrete Structure of the Year 2007. The road now runs on a new route (1.8 km section) and in addition to the main route, 1.9 km of new approach roads, exit roads and soft traffic roads were built. A two level crossing was constructed to make the exit road to Puurmani safer. In addition, road lighting was installed together with the necessary power lines and substations.

The arch bridge at Puurmani junction won the grand prize Concrete Building of the Year 2007 awarded by the Estonian Concrete Association.
