In August 2008, Merko Ehitus decided to proceed with the development of Räägu-Vuti apartment buildings. In the second stage of construction, three apartment buildings with 34, 15 and 11 apartments were planned to be built. First of all, the smallest one with 11 apartments was constructed, being an analogue of the three apartment buildings completed in the first stage of the development in 2006. To differentiate from others, we decided in favour of more expensive and innovative solutions. Spacious terrace separated with barriers made the apartments on the first floor at least as good as those on higher floors. The exterior of the building was altered by one of the most innovative parts of the project -solar heating. On the roof we placed 16 m² flat solar heating panels, which provide complementary heating for the building’s domestic water. The rooms became cosier thanks to Trendoor-series veneer interior doors from Haapsalu Uksetehas, which were selected to match the tone of Upofloor’s board parquet flooring. The windows are made of wood-aluminium and, in addition, there are many smaller enhanced solutions, which were not present in previous projects.
