A new 35/10kV substation was designed and built using the turnkey method. A 20-cell, 10 kV switchgear system and earthing current compensation devices were installed in the new substation building. Airgapped 35kV external switchgear was established next to the building. In addition, the existing access road was rebuilt and at the end of the works, the old substation was decommissioned.
On 1 July 2021, Merko Ehitus Eesti acquired a stake in Connecto Eesti, and the Merko electrical construction business line merged with Connecto.
