The section occupied by ”Jaunbiķeri” in Kaivas Street represents 14 new and functional buildings in seven hectares of peace, quiet and fresh air. ”Jaunbiķeri” are located only a 20 minute drive from the centre of Riga. One section is comprised of 381 apartments, ranging from two to four rooms, with an area of 58 to 135 m². In the middle of the section, surrounded by cluster of pines, a green zone with pedestrian walkways has been built. There is a network of cobble stoned pathways between the buildings, as well as six playgrounds for children. The residents enjoy the amenities of underground and above ground car parks.  ”Jaunbiķeri” have been awarded the prestigious second place in the Latvian Builders Association’s Show, The Best Building of the Year, in the category of The Best Building of the Year in Latvia 2007.
