The viaduct of Suur-Sõjamäe-Järvevana road is architecturally well-integrated into the urban picture. The work was done in the conditions where the traffic on Tartu road was open during the whole construction period (3+3 lanes). The one-way two-lane 85 metre viaduct runs across Tartu road from Suur-Sõjamäe street to Järvevana road. In the course of the construction of the viaduct, Järvevana road was expanded for approximately 200 m – an exit road from the viaduct and, on the request of Statoil, an access to the gas station were built. The new viaduct made the traffic on one of the town’s most important junctions considerably smoother.
