Merko built a new factory for the metal industry company Metec in the Tõrvandi industrial park on the outskirts of Tartu, with surrounding roads, parking and landscaping. The nearly 7,000 sq. m building will house production and warehouse space, as well as a two-storey section for utilities and technical facilities.

Metec manufactures micrometre-precision moving parts used in cars, trucks and trains, as well as in the medical sector. In the new factory, Metec will focus on the manufacture of larger products.
