The bridge over one of the fastest rivers in Latvia – the Dzelda river – is located in the Kuldīga district, 6 km from Embūte. The new bridge has been constructed as a monolithic oval shaped run-through, 3.8 m wide, 3.13 m high and 25.5 m long. The bridge building process also includes reconstruction of a 320 m long section of the road, elevating the road covering by one metre. Merks performed the construction of the bridge, as well as the reconstruction of the adjoining section of the road.
