The new school is situated in a 1.5 hectare territory, almost directly opposite to the «Inbox» ice arena. It has several fields for sports activities and games, as well as 76 parking spaces. In the school building are 32 classrooms, situated on two floors, fully equipped art studio, music rooms, sciences laboratory, an up-to-date computer-room and a cafeteria. The building is built in such a way which will enable future expansion.
The new school is one of eight prestigious British King’s College schools in the world, which provide excellence in the education system in Great Britain and overseas already for 45 years. British Secondary School of Latvia will be the first such high profile British educational establishment in Latvia. The British Secondary School of Latvia will offer studies to children of all ages, starting from pre-school (from 3 years) till the secondary school (18 years). Studies will be provided by a team of teachers from Great Britain. The school is planned for 200 pupils.
