The cornerstone for the Eesti Pank building was laid on 25 April 2003. This project involved problems with the Tallinn Municipal Engineering Services Department’s traffic service, as the street on which the work was done was too narrow. The installation of the tower crane created difficulties. Construction had to take place in conditions where the formwork could be assembled only one piece at a time and the rebar stored beneath the crane could be retrieved only when the crane was moved.
