The “Aloja” substation was built in 1973. Reconstruction works were carried out on the existing seven connections – sequential dismantlement and installation of new connections. The scope of reconstruction works includes the development of a complete technical design, construction of a control building, installation of 110 kV and 20 kV equipment, installation of substation relay protection and dispatching control systems.
The construction works were carried out by GP Merko Infra Remus Elektro.
