Tondiraba, a parkland area located in the Lasnamäe district of Tallinn, takes up 29 hectares, making it one of the capital city’s largest parks. It is home to the largest complexes of sports fields and playgrounds in the Baltics, at more than 5.7 hectares. There are also 10 km of jogging paths, forest trails and other footpaths, 2.5 km of bicycle-only paths, dog parks, barbecue areas, a bike service point and hammocks.

The park, developed on a wetland area of the same name, preserves the natural part of the area, which covers more than 85% of the park. The woodland and small bodies of water, flora and fauna were all preserved. A total of 32 species of new trees and shrubs were planted. Three bridges were built on the eastern side of the park, each one allowing viewing of the plants and animals in their natural environment. The park makes up part of Lasnamäe’s green corridor, which was planned back when the city district was founded.
