In 2007, we supported the organisation of the “Joan Mirό Landscapes” exhibition. The exhibition of works by the internationally renowned 20th century Spanish artist Joan Miró (1893–1983) at KUMU was an extraordinary event for many reasons. Besides hosting such a well-known and renowned artist for the first time, the new KUMU also showed its ability to bring pearls of European art history to Estonia. The exhibition featured 57 works, including graphics and sculptures, as well as 8 photographs. All exhibits came from the Fundaciό Pilar i Joan Miró a Mallorca.
