Starting in May 2024, residents and guests at Lahekalda will be welcomed by a striking artwork titled “Cattails”, created by Kalle Pruuden, Siim Poomann and Kersti Lootus. An elementary yet captivating and intricate plant, cattails symbolize the primeval and well-established, thus making it well suited to Lahekalda in concept and form. Made of metal elements, its reflective surfaces catch the sun during the daytime and are silhouetted against a backdrop of warm illumination on dark evenings, providing a positive vibe and an element of surprise.
