Through construction the 6.8 km road section between Loo and Maardu (on the main road E20 Tallinn-Narva) was converted into I class road. This means that all crossings with side roads and light traffic roads will take place at different levels. As a result trafficking will become safer and smoother on one of the most overburdened road sections in Estonia. Light traffic roads and collector roads were constructed within the whole road section.
2 light traffic bridges, 2 overpasses, 1 car tunnel, 1 railway tunnel and 2 light traffic tunnels were built. 36 km of barriers have been installed for safer trafficking.
The newly reconstructed section of the road will give the whole region a modern look.
