In the fifth stage of the Uus-Veerenni development, 12 apartment buildings comprising a total of 137 apartments and eight commercial premises were successfully completed at the beginning of 2023.
These buildings, located at Veerenni 36b and Pille 11, range from three to six stories in height and have a B energy class rating. Apartment sizes vary between 34 and 118 square metres. Parking spaces are conveniently located in the building’s underground parking lot, while the landscaped courtyard between the buildings provides residents with recreational and play areas. The architectural style of the fifth stage, designed by Tõnis Tarbe and Johann-Aksel Tarbe, aligns with the aesthetics of the first and second development stages of Uus-Veerenni.
Nestled between Veerenni, Vana-Lõuna, and Tehnika Streets, Uus-Veerenni is central Tallinn’s largest comprehensive housing development. In its entirety, the development project involves the construction of nearly fifty new apartment buildings. Pille 7, 9 and 11 house spaces for small businesses and offices on their ground floors, and the entire complex is completed by a park and kindergarten. Future plans include adding a commercial building in the middle part of the complex near Tehnika Street, enhancing the quarter’s vibrant urban landscape.
Uus-Veerenni has earned the admiration of our customers and received acclaim in various competitions. Notably, the courtyard situated between the buildings of the first stage of Uus-Veerenni was awarded the 2020 Estonian Landscape Architects’ Union annual award in the courtyard category.
