Estonian tennis is in peak shape after its more than 100-year history, at both professional and amateur level. Merko was a gold sponsor of the Estonian Tennis Association from 2015 to 2020, supporting adult professional tennis and the organisation of international tournaments. Specific contributions were made to the development of Estonia’s best male tennis player Jürgen Zopp, and the organisation of the Merko Estonian Open tournament in Pärnu in the summer.
