Noored Kooli is a two-year development program that brings motivated people from other walks of life to Estonian schools. During a two-year period, participants undergo a thorough training and receive multifaceted support so that they can make a contribution to every child in Estonia obtaining a genuinely good education. Over its time in existence, the programme has fed several hundred new people into the education system, of whom the majority have remained working in the education field, including about ten of them as school principals. Merko supported the implementation of the project in 2012-2014 and 2016-2018.
