Description of work

In autumn 2011, a nice and cosy apartment building with 15 apartments was finished at 12 Kristiina Street in Tallinn city centre. The building together with a playground and parking lot is surrounded by a fence. In addition to the parking lot there is also a garage with 10 spaces. The building accommodates 1 one room apartment, 7 two room apartments, 5 three room apartments and 2 four room apartments. The four room apartments are arranged over two floors and boast large rooftop terraces. The building has a mechanical suction and exhaust ventilation system with heat recovery and apartments are furnished with water floor heating. The energy performance of the building is class B. The façade is dominated by light grey rendering with gorgeous flagstone cladding on ground floor level. To make a contrast with the grey, beige boarding has been used. Most of the apartments have tall (reaching the floor) wooden aluminium windows and are full of light. The stairway of the building has a glass façade reaching all the floors, which adds even more light to the building. The materials used in the interior of the apartments are cosy and gorgeous.
