The project works were carried out in implementation of the activities “Renovation and Extension of Water Supply and Waste Water Treatment Infrastructure in Ginkūnai” according to the project “Renovation and Extension of Water Supply and Waste Water Treatment Infrastructure in Šiauliai District (Šiauliai, Ginkūnai)”. 5.699 km of water supply pipelines and 0.606 km of pressure waste water networks were laid, 2 underground waste water pumping stations were installed from the project funds. 1.037 km of branches for water supply service lines were laid and wells with water metering units were installed till the boundaries of the parcels of land. Upon completion of the construction works of the new networks, high quality water services became available around to new 400 residents. The quality of water and waste water treatment services also became better to the present consumers in Ginkūnai Village, since 7.060 km of water supply networks of worst condition and 5.163 km of waste water pipelines were reconstructed in the course of implementation of the project. All street covering damaged during the project were reconstructed and environment was managed.
