In the course of the substation reconstruction, a new switchgear of 110 kV was constructed and a new 25 MVA power transformer of 110/35/10 kV was installed and connected to an overhead transmission line. A new control building was constructed and the old part of the substation was dismantled and demolished. The procurement included also the replacement of current transformers and the establishment of differential protection relaying equipment in Anne substation.

On 1 July 2021, Merko Ehitus Eesti acquired a stake in Connecto Eesti, and the Merko electrical construction business line merged with Connecto. Acting jointly under the Connecto brand makes it possible for us to offer a significantly broader range of services – in addition to the design, construction and maintenance of low, medium and high voltage electricity networks, Connecto also operates in the field of telecommunications and gas networks.
